Founder, Jane Messenger

Director Jane Messenger is uniquely positioned to deliver on standards of institutional excellence. Her expertise in art advisory is grounded in a 13-year curatorial career at the Art Gallery of South Australia. Here, she held the senior position of Curator European and North American Art.

Jane oversaw the display, expansion and valuation of a prestigious collection spanning the Renaissance through to Contemporary Art. Her numerous exhibitions, publications and acquisitions were received with critical and public acclaim. Her success also relied on an ability to manage and foster sponsor, benefactor and media relations.

Jane has lead projects with TATE (Britain), Saatchi Gallery, Bill Viola, Patricia Piccinini, Australia’s major national and state galleries, Art Exhibitions Australia, The David Roche Foundation and Detached Cultural Organisation. She has spoken as an expert on a range of subjects nationally and internationally, to both the public and corporate sectors.

Distinguished by a curatorial career spanning over a decade, acquiring art and managing projects with leading national and international institutions (including TATE, British Museum, Saatchi Gallery), Jane is uniquely qualified to ensure her clients make smart decisions when buying and selling in the art market.
